Adult Diaper Sizing and Selection

The absorbency level you need depends on your typical bladder size and how long you plan to wear the diaper. For heavier bladder releases, opt for a higher absorbency level.

From our experience, diapers work best for patients who are bedridden or have limited mobility, while pull-ups tend to be more convenient for most people. Ultimately, the choice is personal and depends on individual preferences.

Adult Diaper Usage and Patient Care

Typically, a person can empty their bladder two to three times before needing a change. However, this can vary depending on factors like the amount of liquids consumed, bladder capacity, and most importantly, personal comfort.

Yes, however, there are times when the person might need to be changed during the night because of higher urine output.

People with sensitive skin might be more prone to rashes when using adult diapers. Additionally, certain materials can increase the chances of dryness and irritation. It is advisable to use barrier creams and nappy creams if any signs of a rash are noticed. In severe cases, diaper usage can lead to dysplasia and cervical cancer.
